 Best wedding band I’ve ever heard … I’m not the biggest fan of weddings and not usually that fond of the food, but the Joel Young Band made my night at my friend’s recent wedding on Long Island. Great musicians, awesome song list, and they had the place totally rocking. The entire place was up and dancing the whole night. If I wasn’t already married, I’d hire them for my wedding! Haha

 Amazing Band! Book them! The Joel Young Band is awesome! They played our wedding ceremony and reception on 12/15/2018 and they were the perfect choice. We originally saw them play a wedding in 2015 and they were so great that we decided to book them for ours in 2018. Even though we did not give them many song recommendations, they played exactly the type of music that we wanted and kept everyone dancing the entire time, and their sound systems were excellent. Many of our guests are still talking about how great they were! Leading up to the event, Hank Lane was very helpful and always responded quickly to our emails and concerns. They also keep the entire band open for your date, so we were able to add additional musicians two weeks before the wedding. The Joel Young Band definitely gets a 5 star review from us – wish we could give them more!! Definitely try to book them for your event.

Amazing! … Joel Young Band made our wedding night unforgettable. Almost every single guest has complimented the band. Throughout the entire night, the dance floor was never not full. My husband and I had the best time at our wedding and we tribute a lot of that to Joel Young band who made our night absolutely amazing. Not to mention that we changed our first dance song the day before our wedding and they accepted the challenge without hesitation! They were truly unbelievable and I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

 Don’t waste time shopping around! …When the Joel Young band asked me if I would write a review of their performance at my wedding, I was more than happy to do so because let me tell you, the Joel Young band knows how to make an event EXPLODE into a dancing, singing crazy-good time! As soon as they hit the stage, it was less than 3 minutes before the entire place was shouting, singing, losing their shoes and their minds! Trust me, THIS is the band you want at your wedding; they’re not just onstage, they’re all over the place, mixing it up with the crowd while they’re rocking out the BEST song list you ever heard. I’ve been to several other weddings they played, and they have it all from their professional yet UNstuffy look to their kickass talent and presence – if you’re looking for a group for your reception, you should really consider the Joel Young band. They’re not like any wedding band I’ve ever seen, and they turned my wedding from a stereotypical reception into a night I’ll never forget!

Me and my wife got married on Shelter Island and were priveledged to have the Joel Young Band provide the soundtrack to our special day. Not only did they exhibit the highest level of professionalism, they were a great group of musicians. During the ceremony the strings and keys trio provided a classy vibe and executed flawlessly as we picked non traditional songs. And they rocked the reception with the dance floor completely packed! Perfection all around and every guest complimented us afterwards on how much they loved the music these guys provided!

 If you want to dance, these are your guys! …Highly recommend the Joel Young Band! They worked so seamlessly with our wedding venue to provide us with the greatest experience of our lives. My wife and I remember sitting there watching people dance all night, and knew that our wedding would be one talked about for ages to come. It wouldn’t have been that special or that memorable without these guys. They knew exactly what song to play next to keep everyone on the dance floor, and that was our main goal!

Highly recommend …The Joel Young band played at my wedding 2 years ago and they were incredible. The band was truly everything I wanted from a band playing at my wedding. They were not too loud as many bands can be, they got all of my guests up and dancing, they had the perfect song for each moment of the wedding and each member of the band was so nice ! While planning our wedding my husband and I did not give too many specific songs we wanted played at the wedding instead we told the band genres that we love and the band hit the nail on the head, I specifically remember while eating the main course my husbans and I singing and dancing in our seats while eating. I highly recommend the Joel young band for any special event !

Amazing band …We used the Joel Young Band from our wedding and they were absolutely incredible. From every aspect of the night, the band was remarkable. The volume was perfect, the skill set was unmatchable, and the level of professionalism was par none. These are true musicians and professionals. We had The Joel Young Band at our wedding in 2016. I had seen them perform at my friends wedding earlier that year and knew we had to book them. Music was extremely important to us as we knew both we and our guests LOVE to dance and have a great time. The JYB did not disappoint! Their energy throughout the entire evening was incredible, keeping everyone on their feet and even shouting for an encore at the end! No one wanted the night to end! They were extremely professional, knew how to read the crowd, and also incredibly nice and friendly to work with. Our music taste for our wedding was a mix of classic and current rock, country, pop, and Frank Sinatra-esque tunes. All around they knocked it out of the park. Highly recommended!!!

The Best Ever … The Joel Young band was amazing. They made our wedding. They got all our guests up and dancing and everyone was talking about them months after the wedding. They were the highlight to our wedding. The band was extremely professional and very friendly. Whatever you asked of them they delivered and were very amenable to music requests.

Guests told me our wedding was “THE BEST EVER” because of this band! …Hiring this band was easily the best decision I made during the planning of our wedding. From the beginning consultation to the wedding day, I never once had to worry about The Joel Young Band and what I could expect from them. They played classical music for our ceremony (and I chose difficult music! No “Cannon in D” here!), acoustic for our cocktail hour, and then full party music for the entirety of the reception.

 The band was INCREDIBLE! They exceeded our expectations by miles. They knew just the right songs to play and when. My feet are still killing me from dancing all night! So many people were coming up to us and have been emailing/texting us about the band telling us how much they loved them. I would recommend hank lane as a whole and Joel Young band to anyone in a heartbeat and without question. Truly the best day of our lives and a large part of that goes to the band!

 We had the Joel Young Band at our wedding. In a word, they were awesome! Great musicians, great musical range, great music. From the Monkees, to Motown, to the Stones, to rap- and most things in between. And they nailed it. True professionals. And they were great fun as well- entertainers, who were clearly enjoying what they do. Also, we loved the fact that there were enough musicians that they could stagger their breaks-and keep the music going almost continuously. They received compliments from everyone! Over two years later, people are still talking about how great our band was.
